  • Share your thoughts on how you felt on 9/11. Do you feel differently about it today? Explain.

  1. I understand everyone has their own view point of major events in the contry that live in but to people have just gone to far with the 9/11 attack. There are two major reasons why I thick that. First because there are alot of people that say a that there lives wear changed and made them more gratful for what thay have. What thay don't get is that thay should have thought that way befor something like the 9/11 attacks happend. Because what alot of people dont get is that out your hole life is that you could have died at least five times. Some people just dont see it thats why i've looked an my life and saw that you should do that same. Second because how can people just single out one event out of the millions that die every day. All over the world alot are much worse then haveing a plan flying into a bilding. If you truly feel nothing for them just becuse you dont know them then I feel sorry for you because your basicly being a hypocrite.

  2. I don't remember much about 9/11 i dident know it was happening. I believe i was 6 or 7 years old.
When i got older and learned about 9/11 i was shocked and very upset that all those innocent people died. I remember watching the movie in Social Studies and seeing all those poor people jumping out of the window. I could imagine how painful that was for the people that actually knew anyone working in those buildings.

  3. I was 7 years old when 9/11 accured. I was in the 2nd grade, we were actually doing math when it happend. The teacher stopped what she was doing and turned the tv on & told everyone to be quiet and listen, i was totally unware of what was going on i thought it was close to our sorroundings the way they were acting, because people were comming to get their kids from school. i was thinking in my head like what the heck is going on, but never understood until i got home and my parents told me. I watched the actual footage of it this september that just pasted on lifetime and they showed everything, from piolet talking to the passengers telling them to be calm, to the biliding about to fall. There was actually a man who was recording out of his window saying a man was waving a flag and fell out the window. from watching that i felt so awful, its so sad that innocent people had to experience that and for parents to loose their kids to this tragety is very painful.

  4. yes i do know where i was on 9/11.I was in my elementary school when the twin towers got hit.

I was 6 years old when 9/11 happened. no i did not know what was really going on until i got home and my mom told what had happened.

my thoughts on 9/11 is that it is sad what happened to the twins towers because they did not have any right hitting the twins towers like they did.No i do not feel different about it today because my bestfriends dad was one of the 3,000 people that got hurt and killed in the twin towers when they got hit by the 2 airplanes that hit the twin towers.

  5. I was eight years old when 9/11 happened. I remember I was in gym and the principal came on and told us to be quiet and have a moment of peace and no one understood why. Then my mom ended up coming to get me so on our ride home she was explaining to me what had happened but I didn't understand her. She wouldn't even let me go outside and play with my friends that day I had to stay inside bored. This was a major impact on everyone's life but i understand it more now then I did back then. On 9/11 i didn't understand I just wanted to be able to hang out with my friends and have fun but i couldn't and that's all I really cared about on that day. Now I know I should of thought different but I was only eight and I really didn't understand much about what happened, but now when I look back on that day I wish I could of understood because that day is now a holiday of remembering everyone who died that day whether just being at work or being a hero trying to save life's.

  6. i was 6 and no i really don't know what was happing . i just know we all had to go home from school. i was scared because i was little and didn't know what happened till i got home and they told me. yes i do feel different about 9/11 then i did. now that im older i understand what happened and all the people that lost there lives. Osama went to far. but today i think just because Osama bin laden is dead i believe that he was teaching other people what he knows and how he planed and did 9/11. i believe one day there will be a lot of other people Osama tough that will try to do it again.

  7. When the 9/11 happened I was in the first grade about six years old didnt really know what was goin on , i jus noticed people where sad and crying and very hurt from what had happened. My heart goes out to all the peoples loved ones that where lost in the crashes and i feel like the U.S. does kind've take things to the extremes I feel like their dweling on the bad times, when they should be celebrating the good times of the peoples lifes and how brave they where.

  9. Thank you all for sharing. I know this is a day we will never forget as a country. I am so glad you decided to share your thoughts with your peers and teachers.

I was in gym class when this happened and still remember that day in full detail. My mother came and picked me up from school early and we sat and watched the live footage together at home. I too feel that I understand that day better than I did on September 11, 2001. I know one thing for sure; our country is stronger and more united.

  10. I was ten years old when the twin towers was hit. I was at school in the second grade at Beck elementary when the twin towers was hit. I could feel the ground shake. I heard people screaming. I could smell the smoke and hear the sirens. My teacher Ms. Cindy Brown was telling everyone not to panic but it was to late not to panic. I and my whole class started flipping tables and chairs we were taking cover while the teacher stayed by the window we all backed up away from the windows and went up under our desks and tables. I crawled up into a ball. It was terrible because over 3,000 people were killed that September day. More than 400 of the people that was killed were fire fighters and police officers who were trying to save everybody that was still in the twin towers. They died in the line of duty doing there job. That's what makes it so terrible and scary.

  12. When the twin towers were hit i was 6 years old, while it happened I was remember my teacher had all of us sit in a big circle and she told us to get quiet. She turned on the news and all you could see was people covered in dust and I seen alot of people crying. As soon as my mom came to get me from school I could tell she was scared but happy that we were all okay. Alot of people were worried because nobody knew what they were going to hit next. I felt so bad for the people that were in that building and the ones that got hurt. I still feel the same way about it today and wish that it never happened.
