The Power of Walking! 

Today we discussed the importance of walking and how it is an excellent form of physical activity. 
Below are two articles that emphasize the benefits walking can do for your health.

Blog Assignment

1. Based on what we read and the class discussion, name at least three benefits to walking/aerobic exercise.

2. Please DESCRIBE (more than 2 sentences) how you can incorporate more walking into your daily/weekly routine. Is this something you really plan on doing or do you see yourself doing other physical activities instead? Tell us what you plan on doing! It takes a plan to make the action!

Example: I can walk as I am talking on the phone for 20-30 minutes.
I can take my dog for a walk around the block a few times.

    I can walk more and exercise more. Yes this is something I plan on doing. I plan on working out everday and walking everyday.

  2. 1. Exercising gives energy, peace and clear thinking.
    2. I can walk more and get more exercise in each day by walking to the store and walking to run errands. Also, I could become more active by playing sports and just going for a walk with friends.
